Founder & Principal
Our Founder and Principal, Maggie Wood, M.S., LEED AP, Allied ASID, comes from a long line of artists and designers. An accomplished musician and fine artist, her passion for elegant design and commitment to sustainable principles is her trademark. Maggie is a recognized expert in the field of green design, and has been a leader at the forefront of the movement for many years. She is a LEED Accredited Professional, a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and a subject editor for Green Home Guide. Maggie holds a Bachelors degree in Architecture from Smith College, a Master of Science in Design from the University of Massachusetts, and has a research background in environmental health and the built environment. Maggie lives with her husband, an organic farmer, by the sea on the beautiful east end of Long Island.

SARAH HARDING, M.S.
Research Director
Our Research Director, Sarah Harding, received her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Franklin and Marshall College in Pennsylvania, and her Master of Science in Interior Design from the University of Massachusetts. Her research in sustainable design focuses on green building materials and green home products. Her other design interests include historic preservation, furniture and textile design.
